Education

I am a senior at SUNY Oneonta who will be graduating in May. I will have a bachelor degree in English and am minoring in Professional Writing. I will be continuing my education with SUNY New Paltz and working to get my Masters in Speech Language Pathology. I hope to one day help people of all ages, and I believe that being a tutor is a great fit for me.

Experience

I have assisted my professors by running study sessions in the past and have often tutored classmates when they need help. I am the person they turn to because I play to their strengths and assist with their weaknesses. I have a 3.55 GPA and consider myself to be an extremely hard worker. I don't give up on projects, goals, or people, and I think that it an important quality in a tutor.

I love to read and write. My favorite authors include Stephen King and Garth Stein. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and my pets. I am also a huge animal lover who enjoys being outside. I think laughter and smiling are important in learning, and I like to make my peers or students know that they are my equals.
